9th Circuit Rejects Novel Rights Act Suit Over EPA Pesticide Plan Approval

The U.S. Court of Appeals for the 9th Circuit has rejected environmental justice groups' novel suit claiming that EPA violated the Civil Rights Act (CRA) when it approved an unenforceable California pesticide control plan that critics say disproportionately exposed Hispanic schoolchildren to harmful pesticides including methyl bromide.
