Utilities See Hurdles To Drinking Water SRF Use As EPA Funds Increase

As EPA prepares for an expected increase in drinking water infrastructure funds, a utility group has identified numerous barriers to the use of the monies, including current challenges like large utilities' ability to find better financing terms elsewhere and emerging challenges such as utilities' ability to convince Congress to appropriate the recently authorized funds.
