Wheeler Vows To Replace ‘Toxic’ PFAS But Seeks To Limit Disruptions

EPA Administrator Andrew Wheeler says the agency and other regulators will work to remove toxic per- and polyfluoroalkyl substances (PFAS) from the marketplace and replace them with safer substitutes but that officials will seek to limit any market disruptions that may result.
