Settlement ends Kinder Morgan groundwater litigation

A settlement between environmental groups and pipeline company Kinder Morgan creating a $1.5 million gasoline spill cleanup fund has ended litigation that was one of the first applications of a new Supreme Court precedent on when pollutants in groundwater might need a Clean Water Act (CWA) permit.
