EPA Plans ‘Confidence’ Framework For NAMs In Regulatory Work By 2024

EPA’s computational toxicology chief says researchers are targeting for 2024 “an agency-wide scientific confidence framework” that will guide the agency’s evaluations of new approach methods (NAMs) for regulatory purposes under TSCA and other laws, as part of a plan to advance the methods’ use.
