Environmentalists threaten suit to force tough chemical air rule

Environmentalists are threatening EPA with a lawsuit to force the agency to review and strengthen its chemical manufacturing sector air rules for smaller “area” sources, saying the agency has missed a statutory deadline to complete the review and also that the current standards are too weak.
