Environmentalists Press EPA To ‘Jumpstart’ Cleanups With CERCLA Rule

A host of environmental groups is urging EPA to quickly finalize its designation of two PFAS as “hazardous substances” under the Superfund law, contending it “would jumpstart” the cleanup of PFAS-polluted sites, and is pressing the agency to make good on plans to propose a rule seeking data on designating additional PFAS as hazardous substances.
