EPA appears unlikely to meet a Jan. 1 deadline for finalizing a Toxic Substances Control Act (TSCA) reporting rule for PFAS imports, manufacture and processing, as it weighs potential changes to the draft version of the rule to curb its scope and economic impact on small businesses after a revised analysis found a much higher cost-burden for small companies than originally predicted.
