Environmentalists Seek FDA Bans On Three TSCA ‘High Priority’ Chemicals

A coalition of environmental groups is petitioning the Food and Drug Administration (FDA) to scrap past approvals for three chemicals EPA has designated as “high priority” for evaluation and regulation under TSCA -- ethylene dichloride, methylene chloride and trichloroethylene (TCE) -- as food additives and coloring agents.
