EPA is asking a federal court to dismiss environmentalists’ suit challenging its nominal grant of their TSCA petition seeking toxicity tests on 54 per- and polyfluoroalkyl substances (PFAS) that sidestepped most of the new testing the groups sought, saying the law does not allow suits to force a “specific result” from the petition process.
