EPA Will Require Gas Processors To Report Chemical Releases To TRI

EPA is adding natural gas processing (NGP) facilities to the Toxics Release Inventory (TRI) program, finalizing an Obama-era proposal that the agency says will bolster its efforts under TSCA and other laws to track community exposures to key chemicals, and rejecting industry arguments that the expansion is overbroad or procedurally flawed.
