GAO: EPA’s Ability To Assess And Manage Chemical Risks Has ‘Regressed’

The Government Accountability Office (GAO) has found that EPA programs to assess and control chemical risks have “regressed” against its criteria despite already being rated a “high risk” of fraud, waste or abuse, the Congressional watchdog announced in its latest, biennial High-Risk Report assessing programs across the federal government.
