Industry Fears Regulatory Chaos If EPA Agrees To Regulate Methane As VOC

Industry attorneys say a petition by 400 environmental groups asking EPA to regulate the potent greenhouse gas methane as a volatile organic compound (VOC) and ozone precursor would cause regulatory chaos and set a terrible precedent for future Clean Air Act regulations, particularly because methane is not volatile.
