DOE Floats Preliminary Transmission ‘Corridors’ To Boost Clean Power

The Department of Energy (DOE) is announcing a preliminary list of 10 corridors where buildout of transmission lines is considered particularly urgent for clean power and other needs, a designation that would unlock increased federal financing and permitting support for such projects.
