McCarthy Rejects Advocates' Call For Equity Review Of EPA Climate Rule

EPA Administrator Gina McCarthy is rejecting calls from environmental justice (EJ) advocates for the agency to assess the impacts of its proposed greenhouse gas (GHG) standards for existing utilities on poor and minority communities, instead urging the advocates to embrace the proposal due to its widespread health benefits.
