EPA Plans To Overhaul 'Outdated' Vehicle Catalytic Converter Air Policy

EPA plans to revamp what it calls its "outdated" policy on aftermarket catalytic converters sold as replacement parts in used vehicles as an alternative to expensive catalysts that reduce air pollution, following years of pressure from some state regulators to revise the policy in order to ensure the converters are achieving cuts in emissions.
