EPA EYES NATIONAL PROGRAM TO IMPROVE TRUCK FUEL EFFICIENCY

EPA is looking to expand to the national level its SmartWay program, a voluntary agreement to improve fuel economy and reduce emissions for the trucking and rail industries, following two state pilot programs to add upgrade kits to lower emissions and increase fuel economy.
