A senior EPA official is vowing that agency climate regulations will be crafted to aid combined heat and power (CHP) generation, also known as cogeneration, a move that industry sources say should lead the agency to consider the technology as best available control technology (BACT) for reducing carbon dioxide (CO2) emissions.
