KEY LAWMAKER MAY OPEN INVESTIGATION INTO METHYL BROMIDE STOCKPILES

Rep. Darrell Issa (R-CA), who chairs the House Government Reform subcommittee on energy and resources, may launch an investigation into the extent of existing stockpiles of the ozone-depleting pesticide methyl bromide, pending a court decision in the coming weeks over whether EPA must disclose that data.
