REFINERY REPORT COULD BOLSTER PUSH FOR FACILITY EMISSIONS CONTROLS

A report sponsored by EPA finds that states may need to seek nitrogen oxide (NOx) emissions reductions from refineries beyond what is required by EPA's legal settlements with a large sector of the industry, which could bolster efforts in Northeast states to develop a model rule to cut refinery emissions, sources say.
