Environmentalists file new claims in suit against EPA over SO2 plans

Environmental groups are filing additional claims in litigation that aims to force EPA findings that several states have failed to submit for agency review plans for attaining the 2010 sulfur dioxide (SO2) national ambient air quality standard (NAAQS), broadening the challenge to include areas in eight states where they say EPA has failed to determine whether the limit has been met.
