Environmentalists sue to force addition of 1-BP to air toxics list

Environmentalists are suing EPA to force the agency to swiftly add the solvent 1-bromopropane (1-BP) to the list of hazardous air pollutants (HAPs) regulated under the Clean Air Act, after the agency in June announced it intends to do so, but it has not taken steps to actually list the chemical.
