EPA agrees to deadline to act on California’s transit plan

Weeks after proposing to approve the California air board’s clean bus rules as part of its state implementation plan (SIP) to attain federal air standards, EPA has reached a proposed consent decree with environmentalists on when it will act, agreeing to a January deadline to take final action on the plan.
