EPA backs Texas crude oil port over progressives’ objections

EPA’s Southwest Region 6 is formally recommending that the Department of Transportation’s Maritime Administration (MARAD) approve the construction of Texas GulfLink (TGL), a deepwater crude oil export facility off the coast of Brazoria County, TX, despite opposition from a range of environmental groups and progressive Democrats.
