EPA pulls approvals for pesticides blamed for harms to bees

EPA has withdrawn a dozen registrations for neonicotinoid pesticides and committed to reviewing other chemicals in the class blamed for harms to bees as part of a proposed settlement of a suit brought by environmentalists alleging the agency’s registration of certain neonicotinoids violated the Endangered Species Act (ESA).
