EPA seeks nominations for controversial CASAC ‘expert’ panel

EPA is seeking nominations for experts to serve on its “pool” of consultants to advise the agency’s Clean Air Scientific Advisory Committee (CASAC) with oversight of EPA ozone and particulate matter (PM) standards reviews, a controversial plan that critics warn could weaken the reviews through “cherry-picking” of scientific data.
