EPA set to publish PM NAAQS rule, starting clock for litigation

EPA is scheduled to publish its rule tightening national ambient air quality standards (NAAQS) for fine particulate matter (PM2.5) in the Federal Register on March 6, starting a 60-day deadline for court challenges to the regulation -- which has been broadly attacked by industry groups and GOP lawmakers, but supported by public health advocates.
