EPA, Sierra Club appear close to deal on RFS study

EPA and the Sierra Club are asking a district court to continue to pause a renewable fuel standard (RFS) deadline suit the group brought for just 10 more days, suggesting the two sides may be close to inking a settlement despite Administrator Scott Pruitt's policy memo imposing steep hurdles before agency lawyers can sign such agreements.
