Imminent Senate Security Bill?

Frank Lautenberg (D-NJ) is slated to make a statement tomorrow on his pending chemical security legislation, with activists hoping the senator will introduce the bill and include strict provisions requiring companies to switch to using inherently safer technologies (IST) to reduce risks. A Lautenberg staffer says the senator will Dec. 3 make an announcement on the bill but would provide no further details.
