Senate Democrats seek EPA RTR for EtO sterilization facilities

Several Democratic senators are urging EPA to launch a broad risk and technology review (RTR) that would assess the health risks from ethylene oxide (EtO) emissions at commercial EtO sterilization and fumigation facilities as well as potential new technologies to reduce those air toxics, saying the pollutant poses major risks to public health.
