Senators press EPA to grant RFS electricity credit

As EPA prepares to issue new blending requirements under the renewable fuel standard (RFS), a group of six senators is urging the agency to grant credits for electricity generated from a variety of renewable and alternative sources such as biogas and forest biomass, as pressure mounts to expand the feedstocks eligible for credit under the program.
