Vilsack defends EPA plan to cut, then boost, RFS targets

Agriculture Secretary Tom Vilsack is defending EPA’s proposal to cut back, then later increase, required biofuel blending volumes under the renewable fuel standard (RFS), arguing the move merely reflects the reality of decreased overall fuel consumption during the COVID-19 pandemic.
