California Panel Rejects Scaled-Back Bill To Ban Fracking, Oil & Gas Drilling

A California state Senate committee has rejected a controversial bill to prohibit hydraulic fracturing and phase out oil and gas drilling by 2035 amid strong opposition by dozens of major labor union groups and industry organizations.
