California air regulators appear likely to tighten a proposed landmark regulation requiring medium- and heavy-duty truck makers to sell zero-emission models beginning in 2024 by targeting certain sectors for earlier action, while also speeding adoption of a related rule requiring fleets to purchase a minimum number of zero-emission vehicles (ZEVs).
