EPA Begins Furloughing Some Employees As Funds Appear To Dwindle

EPA has begun to furlough some staff amid the ongoing government shutdown, likely signaling that “carryover” funds from left-over appropriations and other sources that the administration was using to keep employees paid and working have begun to run thin.
