EPA is preparing to formally ask the White House Office of Management & Budget (OMB) to scale back its plan to set strict new analytical standards for agencies' risk assessments and allow EPA to craft its own guidelines, consistent with current practices and requirements, according to a draft version of the comments reviewed by Inside EPA .
