EPA has released a new framework for environmentally friendly federal purchasing that tightens limits on per- and polyfluoroalkyl substances (PFAS) as part of a recent executive order focused on government-wide sustainability -- creating what one attorney calls a “powerful motivator” for industry to remove PFAS from a host of products.
