EPA Touts Trump Improvements To Clear Chemical Risk Notification Backlog

EPA is touting “process improvements implemented by the Trump administration” that it says has allowed the agency to clear a substantial backlog of chemical risk notifications required under TSCA section 8(e), which requires chemical manufacturers to inform EPA about substances that present a “substantial risk” of injury.
