ExxonMobil Corp. is countering the Justice Department’s (DOJ) push for a federal appeals court to reject the company’s bid for en banc rehearing of a landmark citizen enforcement case, saying DOJ’s novel “forward-looking” standing argument merely reinforces the need for review.
