ExxonMobil Suit Against California Climate Laws Targets CARB Protocols

ExxonMobil’s new First Amendment lawsuit challenging California’s laws requiring large companies to report their greenhouse gas emissions and climate-related financial risks is targeting an existing state GHG reporting protocol, the required use of a specific reporting framework, and the state air board’s recently released reporting templates.
