GOP Senators Object To EPA’s Oil & Gas Emissions Reporting Proposal

Several Senate Republicans are pressing EPA to reconsider its proposed revisions to greenhouse gas reporting requirements for oil and gas facilities, arguing they would “artificially overestimate” methane emissions and thus companies’ obligations under a looming methane “fee” on excess emissions.
