Industries Plan To Press Pruitt For New EPA RMP Rule If CRA Effort Fails

Chemical, agricultural, and other industry officials plan to press Scott Pruitt -- President Donald Trump's nominee for next EPA administrator -- to pursue a rulemaking repealing controversial Obama-era revisions to the agency's facility safety program if a Congressional Review Act (CRA) resolution to undo the changes fails to become law. For now, industry sources says that they continue to support backing Rep. Markwayne Mullin's (R-OK) CRA resolution to scrap EPA's Jan. 13 final rule strengthening its Risk Management Plan (RMP)...
