A Texas energy producer is suing to force EPA to turn over data underlying its allegation that the company's drilling operations contaminated local water supplies in a suit that could test EPA's use of its Safe Drinking Water Act (SDWA) emergency power to address releases from the controversial gas extraction practice hydraulic fracturing.
