OEHHA Proposes Prop. 65 Cancer Listings For Solvent, Sealant Chemicals

California’s health hazard office is proposing to list three chemicals as carcinogens under the state’s Proposition 65 toxic warning label law, including two used in industrial settings as solvents as well as in adhesives, sealants and coating additives. “The Office of Environmental Health Hazard Assessment (OEHHA) is announcing it intends to list 1-bromo-3-chloropropane, 1-butyl glycidyl ether, and glycidyl methacrylate as carcinogens under Proposition 65.
