State Wetlands Group Eliminates Key Slots After EPA Deobligates Grants

The National Association of Wetland Managers (NAWM), a group that seeks to “build capacity” for state and tribes to protect wetlands, is eliminating four positions and its current executive director is stepping down, due to funding challenges after EPA deobligated several grants and sought to cut ties with the group.
