EPA's Inspector General (IG) appears to have sidestepped a longstanding controversy over a test method used to evaluate the efficacy of hospital disinfectants in its recent report slamming the agency's Antimicrobial Testing Program (ATP) for allowing more than 40 percent of products under its purview to go untested, and allowing other "failed" products to escape enforcement.
