ACTIVISTS CHALLENGE EPA DECISION NOT TO MANDATE COAL GASIFICATION

Several environmental groups have challenged in federal court a controversial EPA decision to not require evaluation of integrated gasification combined cycle (IGCC) technology as the "best available" emissions control technology for new power coal-fired power plants.
