EPA GUIDANCE MAY INCLUDE FIRST-TIME AIR TOXIC CONTROLS IN SIP PROCESS

EPA is developing guidance for states to include in their air quality plans for the first time controls on air toxics as well as "criteria" pollutants, which would represent a major consolidation of the Clean Air Act responsibilities of local officials.
