EPA SEEKS ADDITIONAL COMMENT ON FINAL 'RISK-BASED' AIR TOXICS RULES

EPA is in the process of requesting additional public comment on two controversial air toxics rules the agency has already finalized, in a move likely to slow pending lawsuits over "risk-based" exemptions that make it easier for industry to avoid installing costly pollution controls.
