EPA, STATES FAIL TO RESOLVE DISPUTE OVER CLEAN WATER ACT PERMIT

EPA and two Southeastern states have failed to resolve a long-standing dispute over a Clean Water Act permit which would set tough new discharge limits on a paper facility, and as a result, the issue is now being discussed among top EPA and administration officials.
